On The Road To Naha

One day, two students were on the road to Naha, Okinawa.  They came across a boulder which blocked their path.  The first, a Goju student, got into a deep stance, and with sanchin breathing, moved the boulder aside.  The second, a student of Shorin Ryu, laughed at the Goju student, and practicing tai sabaki (body shifting), went around the obstacle.

But if a Seido Ryu student had been on the same road that day, he/she could have moved the rock, went around it, jumped over it, or went through it!
